Partner Direct (Channel, Internal) Sales Trainer
Job Description
Summary;
Responsible for the creation and deployment of channel training programs, practices and procedures to all levels of internal sales personnel. Provide on-going consultation on training and development needs. Maintain a high level of industry and competitive knowledge through research. Provide though leadership and provide innovative training solutions that impact sales performance. Use facilitative and interactive professional training techniques in-alignment with adult learning theory. Demonstrate transfer of learning and sustainable behavior change. Be prepared to travel up to 30% of the time.
Role outline
Content design;
Involved in developing, modifying, executing programs to support Partner Direct (Channel) internal sales organisation. Identify critical skill gaps and develop appropriate training solutions using ADDIE model.
Consultancy;
Be able to take in multiple requests, do detailed learning needs analysis and assess/analyze training delivery and development needs of our partner direct sales organisation.
Assist with developing and learning strategy that is familiar with culture, markets, and training…in-country.
Assist with consulting with internal sales leaders and other cross-department stakeholders in a mature and professional manner. Intermediate consulting skills needed for both inside and outside consulting.
Use industry knowledge and experience to offer guidance and direction. Demonstrate expertise in the IT and Partner channel selling
Be able to come to the table with training solutions that can be adapted to meet local culture, tools, resources, schedules, retailer needs.
Use professional concepts and company policies to resolve routine programs and develop pragmatic solutions.
Training Delivery;
Instructor led facilitative training with participants in classroom, group sessions and/or larger forums. Instruct other trainers in program delivery.
Deliver high value professional and skill based training solutions.
Ability to accommodate different learning styles and facilitative learning across a dynamic group
Test and measurement of training effectiveness. Knowledge, skill and competency within the role
Provide end to end training solutions. Learning needs analysis, design, delivery, assessment, return on investment.
