Our client is an American company from the manufacturing industry listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Their strategy is based on a diversified portfolio of products renowned for their technological content and covering key emerging businesses.

For their EMEA headquarters in Schaffhausen, they are looking for a Commodity Manager.

Poste

Reporting to the Purchasing Director, you will be responsible for :

Building and developing long-term and effective relationships with strategic suppliers.
Leading price negotiations and defining framework agreements with selected suppliers.
Monitoring market analysis and recommending cost savings.
Working in close collaboration with the multi-functional team to solve technical issues.
Managing the ordering and invoicing processes in the company's ERP system.

Profil

The ideal candidate will bring :

University degree completed with further education in purchasing.
At least a first year experience in technical purchasing (manufacturing industry).
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Developed team spirit and high motivation to learn and develop within the company.
Fluency in English & Chinese.
