As AGCO is currently establishing their European Headquarters in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, we are currently recruiting their key team members, including a:

Distribution Development Manager (DDM)

Poste

Working as part of the Distribution Development Team, the DDM will be responsible primarily for ensuring that industry leading distributor and dealer quality in operations is developed and maintained. Therefore distribution will have the competencies to achieve AGCO's strategic objectives for volume and market share growth along with increased Customer Satisfaction and retention levels.

In this role you will be responsible for :

- Assisting and supporting country managers and their organisations in the development of a comprehensive and superior distribution network. This will be for all AGCO brands in supporting selected customer segments for the assigned region within EAME.
- Working with Distribution Quality teams and with the Country Managers' teams in the markets the DDM is launching common business tools and management processes.
- Driving a proactive network management approach through the market.
- Facilitating management decisions for better distribution coverage in supporting selected customer segments and for higher returns. This will be achieved by conducting regular market assessments and implementing necessary changes into the network.
- Ensure that distribution development will have the same approach and target setting across the different markets and will be conducted according to the agreed guidelines in striving towards the strategic objectives.

Profil

- Higher education
- Profound understanding of the agricultural machinery industry
- Experience and knowledge of managing distributors and/or dealers
- Ability to understand the financial implications of decisions made within the Distribution network
- Strong communication skills within multicultural environment
- Good interpersonal skills combined with strength in execution of activities
- English, any other European languages is an advantage
