ADECCO MONACO recruit for one theirs customer, a Private Bank in Monaco, an Equities Trader, for a permanent contract.

Core accountabilities :
You will foster and develop the provision of an Equities Sales-Trading service for Monaco-booked clients leveraging colleagues in other asset classes, driving proposition distribution, progression of the proposition and contributing to the achievement of team revenue targets.
• You will also ensure the securities trading service adheres to best practice and that it is proactive in respect of adding value to clients and provides error-free execution that demonstrably improves investment performance
• Management of counterparty relationships to maximise trading outcomes and contribute to the counterparty selection process are also key
• You will assist in coordinating Initial Public Offering (IPO) applications, block-trades and placements • As an Equities Sales-Trader you will bring expert technical knowledge and help support trading activities from other regions
• You will meet governance controls, risk management controls and compliance requirements
• Active contribution to the creation and maintenance of Global Dealing Procedures.
Profil
Role requirements :
You will possess at least 5 years Sales-Trading experience in equities within the Investment Banking / Private Banking sector demonstrating a robust track record in achieving in challenging environments.
You will have a broad knowledge of securities trading and underlying markets, trading locations and protocols. As well as be pro-active with excellent communication and Bloomberg skills, proven ability to leverage and distribute research ideas and apply them to tactical trading situations in meaningful and value-added manner for clients. Working knowledge of algorithmic trading, transaction cost analysis and counterparties.
Ideally, you will have a strong academic background and equivalent advisory/brokerage regulatory qualifications.
You will have an excellent command of - and be fluent in - French and English with strong written and verbal communication skills, and be able to communicate effectively.

An excellent team player, resistant to stress an able to meet tight deadlines, the role holder will have a pragmatic ‘can-do’ attitude and be proactive and flexible in accordance with the changing environment.
