Description of the job
The Engineer Industrial and Quality have to assure the quality of technologies and assembly processes used for design and
manufacturing of electronic units.
In accordance with the different implicated businesses, you will be involved, from the first beginning of the projects, in the design
and the validation follow up of the technologies.
You will validate the overall processes and will be responsible of the correct implementation, and will stateson the technology,
processes and people trainee qualification. He is responsible of the technology conformity of the final product.
In a first time, you will develop the activity for the EADS Astrium in house manufacturing activity, and in a second time you
should extend this activity to support the business Division projects.
In that frame you will perform his activities with European subcontractors involved in the EADS Astrium projects.
Business trips mainly through Europe have to be planned.
Profil
Tasks
You will support and design and manufacturing the department of EADS Astrium in Elancourt:
-You will participate in the analysis and consolidation of development plan of the projects
-You will validate the design drawing in accordance with qualified technologies and processes
-You will be involved in the definition and validation of qualification programs for new or improved processes or technologies
-You will have to follow on and to validate these qualifications
-You will have to follow on and to validate the different suppliers (technical audits, etc.)
-You will validate the manufacturing files and validate the correct implementation of the manufacturing and control processes
and procedures
-You will validate the technology conformity of the manufactured products, and will be involved in the investigation process in
case of anomalies.
-You will present and justify to the final customers the processes and technologies, and the validation program that was applied
In the frame of this activity, you will be part of the satellite Astrium project team. Added to the former activities, specific ones
include:
-To attend/ lead audits for selection of Astrium sub-contractors
-To define survey plan in these sub-contractors
-To implement and manage material and process review boards in these sub-contractors
-To identify and manage critical technologies and process
-To control and assure the technological conformity of the manufactured products
-To report the status of material and processes to the project team, and to present the results to the final customers

Your skills
You are an engineer with knowledge of electronic production processes. You will have at least from 3 up to 5 years experience
in the frame of quality and of electronic assembly.
-Space activities knowledge should be appreciated
- Quality assurance, as well as processes and normative references for space activities should be appreciated.

You are comfortable with work team and you have ability to defend and/or impose your view, and to build and lead actions from
end to end.
