JOB PURPOSE
The Lead Generation Marketing Manager (LGMM) is responsible for planning, developing and implementing lead generation plans for the PLE segment within his/her country scope. He/she is the link between local PLE country marketing manager, locals PLE sales teams as well as EMEA marketing teams.
The LGMM will ensure that the lead generating marketing activities are delivered to our customers as well as to our sales teams. He/she builds awareness of our products- and solutions offerings in close collaboration with the PLE Country Marketing Manager, Field Marketing Managers (FMM) and Marcom resources through appropriate marketing vehicles (promotions, events, online & offline tools, collaterals).
The role requires close cooperation with local sales leadership and solid understanding of customers’ IT-challenges, needs and expectations.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITES
1. Marketing execution
a. Managing & delivering end to end customer activities: Seminars, workshops, webinars, other customer events, internal events, tradeshows, partner events. This includes the following responsibilities:
o Define and manage event logistics including location / venue / catering / speaker availability / co-ordination between segments (via event agencies if necessary)
o Collaborate with sales & solutions teams to target appropriate event content themes and work with BI to select the right customers to invite
o Take direction from CMMs and FMMs on the event content
o Team with sales, marcom and wider marketing team to oversee the production of invitation materials (eshots & landing pages) to promote the event, and any other event related collateral
o Drive and measure attendance
o Manage leave behinds & goodies
o Load leads to Salesforce.com, drive sales follow up
o Collaborate with central events team and co-ordinate local segment participation in industry events and/or Dell cross-segment events
o Gather and use customer feedback to enhance future events
o Plan and co-ordinate participation in external events (not Dell owned) like tradeshows and vertical events where central event team is not involved
o Develop a program to leverage customer testimonials during events
o Work with PR team to ensure event promotion, and post-event coverage
b. Deliver telemarketing projects: Manage EMEA telemarketing campaigns as well as local ones (where appropriate). This includes the following responsibilitie

SKILL/COMPETENCY and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 2-5 year’s experience in a sales and/or marketing role, specialization in events preferable
Entrepreneurial approach and mind-set
Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills

Multi-tasks effectively, self-starter and operationally orientated
Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
