Our client is currently looking for an Internal Auditor to support and conduct multi jurisdictional and complex regulatory risk assurance and monitoring reviews and surveillance activity within business units and central functions. The job will include all parts of the monitoring and surveillance processes, including planning, execution of risk assessments and monitoring/surveillance, reporting and follow up. The incumbent will be expected to work flexibly and cover all aspects of compliance regulation covered by the relevant monitoring and oversight team.
Note: This position does not sit within the Internal Audit division. The main purpose of this role is to perform testing, cover compliance, operation risk, etc with a view of identifying any concerns before the internal audit team flags them.
The jobholder will be required to support complex regulatory risk assurance and monitoring reviews and surveillance activity within business units and central functions. The job will include all parts of the monitoring and surveillance processes, including planning, execution of risk assessments and monitoring/surveillance, reporting and follow up.
You will be responsible for risk assessment and identify legal and regulatory requirements and risks arising from them. In addition to this you will be responsible for monitoring and surveillance.
Profil
The successful incumbent will have practical experience of an appropriate risk based approach to monitoring/surveillance (gained either in Audit or Compliance monitoring). You will have sound knowledge of regulatory rules and regulations with specialist technical knowledge. Extensive experience, preferably in private client or investment management business.
You must be fluent in English and French. Knowledge of Italian would be advantageous.
You will have extensive knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Financial Crime (KYC/AML)
- Sales/Suitability
- Investment product/asset management
- Operations and outsourcing
Willingness to work in isolation and under pressure in order to meet deadlines
Travel is required.
