Our client, a worldwide leader in their market is looking for its Plant Manager/Production Manager for its new facility.

Poste

Main purpose:

- Must ensure that it is done in a way to meet or exceed objectives in terms of safety, quality, environment, timing, and customer services, at the lowest possible costs.
- Must lead, motivate and coordinate the required resources, which are organised in an integrated way (production, Maintenance and Process)


Main activities:

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the main responsibilities of the Plant Manager/Production Manager will be:

- Manage the day to day activities of the plant in accordance with the safety, quality and environment standards of the company.
- Manage the operations of the department according to best practices and market requirements.
- Develop and maintain continuous improvement tools and policies
- Coach, lead, train and motivate people
- Maximise use of assets: reduce cycle time, increase availability and recovery
- Maintain a high level communication within the department and with other managers in the division

Profil

- Engineering Degree.
- Plant / Production management experience, ideally in the metallurgy or automotive sectors.
- Fluent in French, English and German.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Charismatic leader, innovation and improvement oriented.
