Poste

In our European Headquarters, you are responsible for managing and operating the regional telecommunications and infrastructure for delivering core IT services within the region and will be reporting to the Global Director IT Infrastructure Services based in the United States.

Main tasks:
• Manage the regional Networks and Telecommunications, Infrastructure and Service Desk teams on a day to day basis.
• Project management and execution of telecommunications and infrastructure project based upon global governance and standards.
• Manage the regional telecommunications and infrastructure services on a day to day basis.
• Leadership for approximately 33 IT professionals based in Europe
• Administer regional personnel activities – vacations, work schedules, salary, benefits, personnel reviews, etc for European IT personnel
• Manage O-I’s Intel servers, storage, operating and monitoring systems. Optimize O-I’s total cost of ownership while providing information technology service management and delivery which meet or exceed customer expectations within the region.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local information technology partners including providers of hardware, software, and IT services (based upon global standards and agreements).
• Negotiate and manage agreements with vendors for information technology products and services to ensure O-I realizes the best value for the investment
• Develop, manage, measure, and forecasts telecommunications and infrastructure pending for Europe. (budget & forecast)
• Aligns and deploys resources to business requirements and priorities
• Participate in the definition of O-I’s global telecommunications and infrastructure standards. From time to time participate in global work teams.

Profil

• University degree (or equivalent) in information technology or related discipline.
• Advanced degree or equivalent desirable but not required.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of demonstrated progressive leadership experience in telecommunications and in information technology infrastructure.

• Desired competency : English fluent, French optional
